My journey from…
..growing up in a rather poor family to becoming a respected digital marketing guru, working as an actor, getting nominated as a comedian, and ending up doing sold-out arena shows
I was born and grew up in the small suburban city of Herlev in Denmark, along with my mom and two older brothers. Though we were very poor, I was fortunate to have a lot of good friends who made my childhood a memorable one. Even in school, I was known as the class clown, always entertaining my classmates with my quick wit and sense of humor.
When I was 15, in 2000, I went to a boarding school where I discovered my passions for music, drama, and coding websites. I spent most of my teenage years honing these skills and putting on performances for my classmates. It was at this boarding school that I landed my first role in a movie, which was a thrilling experience for a young aspiring actor like myself.
After boarding school, I made the bold decision to move away from home and start a new chapter in my life. I was determined to make something of myself, and I knew that staying in my hometown wasn’t going to help me achieve my goals.
When I was 19, I started my first company and it went okay. It was within marketing, and it was a great learning experience for me. I learned a lot about business and the importance of hard work and perseverance.
In 2008, I landed my first job as a CMO, and in 2009 I began cooperating with Google and often traveled to their European HQ in Dublin. Since then, I have been working part-time with marketing, both in digital agencies and as a freelancer.
In 2015, my comedy duo Adam & Noah went viral in Denmark. That same year, we did a TV show on the biggest TV channel in Denmark and it was a huge hit. We went on three national tours in Denmark and ended our comedy duo in 2022 with two huge arena shows. The last tour sold 120.000 tickets and 22.000 attended our good bye shows in the arena, it was a bittersweet moment but a great way to end the chapter.
In 2021 we got nominated for the best comedian of the year, it was a great honor for us, and we were thrilled to be recognized for our hard work.
In late 2022, I decided to take on a new challenge and participated in Dancing with the Stars. And let’s just say, I may have two left feet but I got pretty far. It was a great experience and it showed me that I can still learn new things, even at this stage of my life.
One thing that I’ve learned is that life is all about taking risks and trying new things. I never know what’s going to happen next, but I’m excited to see where my journey takes me.
